Over 100 vaccines have been created to combat SARS-CoV-2. This chart details the development process of leading vaccines that have been authorized for emergency use or received approval from government health agencies, and are being widely distributed.

As of the chart’s publication date, the use of the following vaccines has been authorized by the World Health Organization (WHO), excluding the Sputnik vaccine.
