Why is the Report of the Office of Autoimmune Disease Research in the Office of Research on Women’s Health for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 inaccessible?

According to the Office of Autoimmune Disease Research (OADR) website, its inaugural report, intended to outline its mission, achievements, and activities in Fiscal Years 2023 and 2024, was just published in January 2025.

However, as of February 5, all links to the document on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) website lead to “Page Not Found” errors.

It remains unclear whether the report was ever publicly accessible or if it was removed before it could be widely viewed.

After reaching out to OADR-ORWH for clarification, GAI received a response stating that the website is undergoing modifications and that some links are currently unavailable. However, their message provided no timeline for when the report might be restored, only that they “hope this will be restored soon.” This leaves the possibility that the report may not return at all, or if it does, it may have been altered.

Given that this was an official report meant to document OADR-ORWH’s research efforts and congressional directives, its absence raises questions about its availability and accessibility. As of now, there has been no official explanation for why the report is unavailable to the public.
