Get Involved

Join our growing community! We are sharing personal stories, hosting support group meetings, and funding important scientific investigations.

Share Your Story

There are millions of individuals all over the world living with autoimmune disease. Sharing your story is a way to tap into this community and inspire others, while also reflecting on your own experiences.

Each personal account serves as a window into the complexities of living with chronic illness. We invite you to share your unique journey with autoimmune disease or chronic illness and what you’ve discovered along the way.

Visit our Autoimmune Stories page for stories from our community, writing prompts, and more info on how to share.

Support Group

Autoimmune Aware is a dynamic support group holding monthly, virtual meeting. We are focused on creating an inclusive space for the autoimmune disease and chronic illness community to thrive, with monthly gatherings to share, learn, and connect.

Our pilot program, which started in San Diego, California, is now open to everyone! We are also working on a support group guide, which will empower others to  build their own local, in-person or virtual Autoimmune Aware groups.
