Congressional Briefing on Celiac Disease

A panel of experts in celiac disease discussed the need for significant federal funding for medical research. The session was recorded and will be posted here shortly.

Celiac is a serious autoimmune disease that has historically been underfunded by our government. Research in this field is particularly critical in finding treatment options and a cure.

GAI provides major funding for the Celiac Group at Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC), which continues to make tremendous strides in raising public awareness of the large population of celiac disease sufferers, as well as the importance of their needs and co-existing conditions, including neurological disorders and other autoimmune diseases.
